NetIQ Corporation, a business unit of The Attachmate Group, this week announced it will take over the complete portfolio of identity and security solutions from sister company Novell. (Both are units of Attachmate) In addition, certain Novell data center solutions will be added to the NetIQ business unit solution portfolio.
Novell product lines now operating under the Houston, Texas based NetIQ business unit include:
· Identity and Access Management – Novell Identity Manager, Novell Access Governance Suite, Novell Cloud Security Service, Novell Access Manager, Novell SecureLogin, Novell Privileged User Manager
· Security and Compliance Management – Novell Sentinel™, Novell Sentinel Log Manager, Novell Compliance Management Platform
· Data Center Management – Novell Operations Center, Novell Cloud Manager, PlateSpin Forge®, PlateSpin® Migrate, PlateSpin Orchestrate, PlateSpin Protect, PlateSpin Recon

Separately, Novell announced a new executive leadership team under the leadership of Bob Flynn, president and general manager, and a return to a Provo, Utah based headquarters.
