SAN FRANCISCO – RSA CONFERENCE 2016 – Kaspersky Lab, the Moscow-based security firm known for uncovering some of the world’s most sophisticated attack operations globally, today announced a new solution aimed at helping customers detect advanced targeted attacks, and a new security Intelligence offering for enterprises.
Generically named the Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform, the system monitors network, web and e-mail activity to help detect attacks at any stage, even if no malicious activity has occurred.
The solution comes with a multi-layered sensor architecture to detect threats at multiple areas of the network. Overall, the platform can help companies reduce the risk of advanced threats and targeted attacks, detect security breaches and attempts to penetrate their networks, take immediate mitigation action, and predict where new targeted attacks could hit, the company says.
Kaspersky’s new Security Intelligence Services cover three main areas: Penetration Testing and Application Security Assessment, Cybersecurity Training (including Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Digital Forensics and Malware Analysis/Reverse Engineering training), and Threat Data Feeds and Botnet Tracking and Intelligence Reporting. The intelligence offering is designed to cater to the needs of large organizations, governmental agencies, ISPs, Telecoms and Managed Security Service Providers.
The Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform is available as an independent solution, but customers can also use it in combination with other services aimed at rapid incident detection and response, the company said.

Kaspersky joins Microsoft and Dell, who also unveiled new advanced threat protection solutions at the RSA Conference this week.
