Fixmo, a provider of mobile security and risk management solutions, announced on Tuesday that its portfolio of enterprise mobility management solutions now supports the new Apple iOS 7 operating system and the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.

With the Fixmo SafeZone secure workspace, Fixmo SafeLock MDM, Fixmo Sentinel integrity verification service and FixmoSecure Gesture biometric authentication, organizations can embrace Apple’s latest operating system and devices while protecting their sensitive business information and maintain regulatory compliance, the company said.

Fixmo enables organizations to embrace iOS devices in the enterprise with the ability to centrally manage policy controls and mobile applications, as well as protect corporate email, browsing, documents, Microsoft SharePoint and custom apps within a FIPS 140-2 AES 256-bit encrypted and controlled secure container environment.

Fixmo Sentinel integrity services and Fixmo SafeLock MDM v5.2 now offer full support for iOS 7 devices within the enterprise. With Fixmo SafeLock and Fixmo Sentinel for iOS 7, IT organizations can maintain tight control over device policy configurations and application whitelist/blacklist policies, with the ability to detect system-level compromises and policy violations such as OS Jailbreaking, disallowed Bluetooth device connections or tampering of the MDM profile.

Fixmo has also updated the Fixmo SafeZone secure container solution to ensure enterprise and government customers can keep all corporate data and apps encrypted, contained and under IT control on iOS 7 devices – independent of the personal side of the device.

“The adoption of Apple iOS devices continues to grow rapidly within our expanding base of customers across the Government, Healthcare and Financial Services markets,” said Bruce Gilley, President of Fixmo U.S. “With support for iOS 7, Fixmo will help its customers embrace the latest operating system and devices from Apple while ensuring their sensitive business data remains protected and within their compliance guidelines.”

In May, the Canadian security company unveiled the Fixmo Enterprise Mobility Platform, a mobile security and enterprise mobility management platform to protect sensitive data on enterprise networks.

With dual headquarters in Sterling, Virginia and Toronto, Canada, Fixmo’s solutions help businesses secure and manage their mobile devices, business applications and private corporate data across company-owned and employee-owned (BYOD) smartphones and tablets.
