Barracuda Networks has launched a new cloud storage service designed to give business users the ability to securely store, share, and access files from anywhere.
Dubbed “CudaDrive” by the Campbell, Calif.-based company, the solution includes mobile file sharing, user data protection for endpoints, and the option to add an appliance to transition from existing corporate file shares.
A virtual drive feature provides users with an identical view of their files stored in the Barracuda cloud, even if the files and folders are not stored on the users’ local hard drives, helping to preserve storage space, Barracuda said.
All CudaDrive plans include unlimited users, and pricing starts at $39.99 per month for 100GB of storage. Customers can also add an on-premise appliance, with options ranging from 500GB of capacity for $999 to 4TB of capacity for $4,999.
