Oracle Support Addresses Need for Support of Large Data Sets and High Assurance Levels by Government Agencies and Enterprises
Governance, Risk and Compliance solutions provider Agiliance, today announced that its RiskVision product now integrates with Oracle Database 11g. The integration of Oracle 11g as a backend database allows for monitoring of assets and policies for users each in excess of hundreds of thousands. Additionally, RiskVision is able to utilize Oracle’s built-in security features to address higher assurance levels of government agencies, banking and financial services organizations, and Fortune 500 companies.

Agiliance customers are able to select from two database choices for its GRC platform – MySQL or Oracle. By leveraging Oracle Database 11g as an alternative to MySQL, organizations can achieve even greater scalability and higher enterprise assurance level, the company says.

The company recently announced its RiskVision Cloud Risk Management Services supports content and controls from the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) GRC Stack. The Cloud Security Alliance GRC Stack, announced on November 17th, provides a toolkit for enterprises, cloud providers, security solution providers, IT auditors and other key stakeholders to instrument and assess both private and public clouds against industry established best practices, standards and critical compliance requirements.
