In his new role, Schwartz will be responsible for product roadmap, innovation, day to day operations, and service delivery across Verizon Enterprise Solutions’ global security and cyber intelligence practice areas, including managed security services, risk management and forensics services, threat intelligence and research (including the annual Verizon DBIR).
Schwartz also serves as Chairman of the Cybersecurity Task Force at ISACA, and is a Distinguished Fellow at the Ponemon Institute.
Schwartz will be based in the northern Virginia area. His official start date at Verizon was Oct. 21.
