Tenable has announced the appointment of Eric Doerr as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Doerr most recently served as VP of Security Products at Google Cloud, and prior to Google he spent more than 20 years at Microsoft, including as General Manager of Microsoft Account and Corporate VP of Cloud Security and the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC).
Docusign announced that Michael Adams has been appointed Group Vice President (GVP) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Adams most recently served as the CISO of Zoom and previously held an executive role at Palantir. He was also an advisor to two Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Docusign’s previous CISO, Kurt Sauer, has stepped down to pursue new opportunities.
Security awareness training firm KnowBe4 has named Bryan Palma as president and chief executive officer (CEO), effective May 5. Palma joins the company from Trellix, where he most recently served as chief executive officer. KnowBe4’s founder and current CEO Stu Sjouwerman has transitioned to the role of executive chairman.
Threat intelligence firm Team Cymru has appointed Joe Sander as its Chief Executive Officer. Sander succeeds founder Rabbi Rob Thomas, who is retiring but will remain actively involved on Team Cymru’s Board of Directors. Sander most recently served as CEO of Radiant Logic and previously as CEO of Arxan Technologies.
CISA has appointed Madhu Gottumukkala as its new Deputy Director. Gottumukkala previously served as Commissioner for the South Dakota Bureau of Information and Technology (BIT). He also served as the state’s Chief Technology Officer. In the past, he also held leadership roles at Sanford Health, CallHealth, and Polycom. A CISA Director has yet to be appointed.
