FishNet Security Launches Threat Monitoring and Response Service

FishNet Security today launched a new cloud-based threat monitoring and response service aimed at helping businesses log information security events across multiple sources, reduce data leakage, and proactively respond to emerging threats and meet regulatory requirements.

Fishnet Security ThreatDetectDubbed ThreatDetect, the service is able to collect logs from multiple sources for advanced correlation and security event reporting, with the ability for customers to create custom policies and reports to fit business requirements or regulatory compliance needs.

FishNet claims businesses can decrease expenses and deployment timelines with a cloud-based solution that offers real-time analysis of network and application security alerts and offloads monitoring to FishNet security experts who review and react to critical alerts.

“Our customers are under increasing pressure to monitor their networks and respond to incidents 24x7x365,” said Aaron Shilts, executive vice president of Services at FishNet Security. “ThreatDetect allows our customers to leverage the efficiencies of cloud technology with the focused expertise of FishNet Security. This enables our customers to focus on their core business requirements while our experts provide the ‘eyes on’ monitoring and security for their technology environments.”

The new solution complements FishNet’s ThreatProtect solution, an offering that provides device and security policy management, risk and vulnerability analysis, and health monitoring and alerting.

Kansas City-based FishNet claims over 5,000 customers, 500 employees and $400 million in annual revenues with approximately 30 offices around the world.
