RSA announced this week that Amit Yoran will take on the role as President and oversee the company’s products, marketing, sales and services.
Art Coviello will remain as RSA Executive Chairman and will work with Yoran to continue driving RSA’s strategic direction, the company said.
Yoran has been serving as RSA’s Senior Vice President of Products.
Prior to RSA, Yoran founded and served as the CEO of NetWitness, which was acquired by RSA’s parent EMC in 2011, and CEO of Riptech, which was acquired by Symantec in 2002, where he served as Vice President of Worldwide Managed Security Services.
Yoran previously served as the founding director of the US Computer Emergency Response Team and as a founding member of the US Department of Defense’s CERT program.
